Ultrasonic testing is a very cost-effective predictive technology. It is utilized to pinpoint sources of ultrasonic energy with a hand-held ultrasonic “gun.” Typical uses are:

• Compressed air and gas leak surveys
• Steam trap assessment
• Electrical arching & Corona discharge
• Bearing inspection routes on support machinery
• Lubrication routes – poor lubrication can be detected
